1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Posterlet ("Posterlet" / "we" / "us" / "our"), an AI-powered platform that enables users to generate images and visual content, available at posterlet.com (the "Service").

By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 13 years of age (users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent); (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

⚠️ If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

2.1 What We Provide

Posterlet provides an AI-powered platform that enables users to generate images, posters, and other visual content using artificial intelligence. The Service is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product delivered via the internet.

2.2 Nature of the Service

The Service is a digital, intangible product. Upon account creation or confirmed payment, access is granted immediately.

2.3 AI Model Dependency

Our Service utilizes third-party AI model providers. Service performance and availability may be affected by the operational status of these providers. We will endeavor to communicate significant disruptions in a timely manner.

3. Account Registration & Eligibility

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Security

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Do not share your credentials with any third party.
  • Keep your account email address up to date.

3.3 Business Accounts

If you register on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. AI Output & Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership of Outputs

Only paid plan users own their AI-generated content. For free plan users, Posterlet may use generated content to improve the service.

4.2 Input Processing

By submitting a prompt, you allow Posterlet to process it through AI models to generate your result.

4.3 Third-party AI Model Dependency

Our Service uses third-party AI model providers. Outputs may be influenced by these providers' models. We do not guarantee specific output quality and accept no liability for outputs generated by third-party models.

4.4 Accuracy of AI Outputs

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying Outputs before relying on them.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

5.2 Prohibited Content Categories

The following six categories of content are strictly prohibited from being generated, uploaded, or distributed through the Service:

  • Pornography / NSFW content — Nudity, sexual acts, or sexually explicit material.
  • Violence / Gore — Graphic violence, dismemberment, or excessively gruesome content.
  • Hate speech — Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or hostility against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — Any sexual content involving minors, child sexual abuse material, or content that endangers children.
  • Deepfakes / Impersonation — AI-synthesized images that impersonate real individuals or are intended to deceive viewers about their origin or authenticity, including non-consensual deepfake sexual content.
  • Copyright / Trademark infringement — Content that infringes the intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights of any third party.

5.3 Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following will be actioned immediately and may be reported to authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
  • Technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction.
  • Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
  • Non-consensual deepfake sexual content targeting real individuals.

5.4 Generally Prohibited Conduct

You also agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent.
  • Produce malware, phishing content, or cyberattack tools.
  • Circumvent or interfere with security features of the Service.
  • Resell or sub-license access to the Service without prior written approval.
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or card network rule.

  • Impersonate real individuals, brands, or organizations.
  • Deceive users by passing AI-generated content off as human-created.
  • Bulk-generate spam or deceptive commercial content.
  • Submit jailbreak prompts designed to bypass Platform safety measures.

5.5 AI-Specific Prohibitions

In addition to the general prohibitions above, given the AI-powered nature of the Service, you specifically agree NOT to:

  • Use Service inputs, outputs, model responses, or any derivative thereof to train, fine-tune, benchmark, distil, or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model that competes, directly or indirectly, with the Service or Posterlet's products.
  • Systematically scrape, extract, or harvest model outputs at scale for purposes other than your own authorised use of the Service.
  • Represent AI-generated outputs as the work of a human professional (e.g., a licensed doctor, lawyer, or financial adviser) in contexts where such misrepresentation could cause harm.

6. Content Moderation & Enforcement

We operate a multi-layer moderation system to enforce the content standards in Section 5.

6.1 Automated Review (Real-time)

All requests and generated content are scanned in real time by safety filters:

  • Input filtering: keyword, semantic, and intent detection on prompts.
  • Output filtering: real-time safety assessment of generated content.
  • Usage pattern analysis: monitoring for anomalous or abusive API usage.

6.2 Human Review

  • Auto-flagged content enters a human review queue.
  • User-reported content is reviewed manually by our trust & safety team.

6.3 Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this Policy, please report it using the in-product report button on any content detail page. Reporter identity is strictly protected. All reports receive independent, objective review. Malicious or false reports are recorded and may be actioned.

6.4 Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take any of the following actions:

  • Warning — Written notice requiring removal or edit of violating content.
  • Content removal — Violating content is taken down.
  • Feature restriction — Reduced quota or model access.
  • Account suspension — Temporary suspension pending review.
  • Permanent ban — Permanent termination of access.
  • Legal action — Report to authorities; cooperate with investigation.

7. Plans & Credits

We offer both subscription plans and credit packages. Subscription plans provide recurring access with a monthly credit allocation. Credit packages can be purchased separately for additional usage. For current plan details and pricing, please visit our Pricing page.

We reserve the right to modify plan features or introduce new plans at any time. Price changes are governed by Section 8.1.

8. Billing & Payment

8.1 Subscription Recurring Billing Authorization

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Posterlet to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the applicable subscription fee. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. We may send you service-related communications from time to time.

8.2 Credit Purchase Authorization

Each credit purchase is a one-time transaction authorized at checkout.

8.3 Taxes

Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar) unless otherwise stated. Where required by applicable law, we will collect and remit such taxes.

9. Credits Validity

9.1 Subscription Plan Credits

Credits included in a subscription plan expire at the end of each billing period and do not carry over to the next period.

9.2 Separately Purchased Credits

Credits purchased separately remain usable as long as your subscription is active. After subscription cancellation, separately purchased credits remain usable for 30 days.

9.3 Credit Consumption Order

When both subscription plan credits and separately purchased credits are available, subscription plan credits are consumed first.

10. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription through Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription.

If you have used credits in the current billing period, cancellation takes effect at the end of that billing period — you will not be charged for the next period. If no credits have been used in the current billing period, cancellation takes effect immediately.

For annual plans, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual billing period. You will retain access until the end of the paid period.

Credits purchased separately are not cancelled and remain usable for 30 days.

11. Refund Policy

Due to the immediate and intangible nature of our digital services, fees are non-refundable once any credits in the plan have been used. You may cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next period.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

12.1 Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is processed by our payment processor and is not stored on our servers.

12.2 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF AI OUTPUTS.

12.3 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

⚠️ AI GENERATED CONTENT DISCLAIMER

Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always verify AI-generated content with a qualified professional before acting on it.

12.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTERLET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE CURRENT BILLING PERIOD.

13. Term & Termination

These Terms remain effective while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, we suspect fraudulent activity, or as required by law. If we terminate for reasons other than your breach, we will provide a pro-rated refund for any unused prepaid period. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full effect.

16. Contact Information

For any questions about these Terms, please contact us at [email protected].
